Pakistani FM: All Countries should Recognize Palestine

DID Press: Speaking at the UN Security Council, Pakistani Foreign Minister emphasized the need for all countries to recognize Palestine.

At the UN Security Council meeting, Pakistani Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar, emphasizing the rights of the Palestinian people, called for the recognition of the state of Palestine by all countries in the world.

In his speech, he said that the Palestinian people should have the right to self-determination and be able to establish their own independent state.

Ishaq Dar also underlined the need for the international community to support Palestine, saying that “we must respect the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people and help end the occupation and establish lasting peace in the region.”

The Pakistani Foreign Minister pointed out the need for Muslim solidarity and support for human rights in Palestine, urging countries to take action in this regard
