DID Press: Hamas vowed in a declaration that the visit of the U.S. envoy to Gaza is aimed at covering up the crimes of the Zionist regime and concealing the blockade and genocide taking place in the region.
The Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas strongly reacted to the visit of the U.S. envoy to the Gaza Strip, describing it as a theatrical attempt to mislead public opinion and to whitewash the crimes committed by the Zionist regime.
According to Hamas, the visit by the U.S. special representative to humanitarian aid distribution centers not only does nothing to improve the humanitarian situation in Gaza, but also serves as a propaganda tool to sanitize the image of the occupying regime.
“Witkoff’s deceptive remarks and the images released from the aid distribution process are in stark contrast with the harsh realities on the ground in Gaza,” reads the statement.
“While more than 1,300 defenseless civilians have been killed by Israeli forces and operatives of the same so-called humanitarian institution, this visit is merely intended to portray a false image of calm and peace,” the statement added.
