Kabul Warns Pakistan: He who digs pit for others falls into it himself
DID Press: Foreign Minister of Afghanistan Caretaker Government, in a veiled reference to the upcoming meeting of Taliban opponents in Islamabad, warned Pakistan against any hostile actions.

Following the announcement of a gathering of anti-Taliban figures in Islamabad, Acting Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi, issued a stern warning to the Pakistani government about the consequences of any hostility toward Afghanistan.
“If you shoot arrows at others, know that the same arrows may strike you. Do not dig a pit in someone else’s path, lest your own road lead to its edge,” said Muttaqi in an implicit reference to Pakistan’s role in hosting the meeting.
These remarks come as Islamabad prepares to host a meeting attended by figures opposed to the Taliban—an initiative that Kabul authorities see as an attempt to destabilize Afghanistan.
Muttaqi further stressed that the Caretaker Government seeks good relations with neighboring countries, but any hostile action or interference in Afghanistan’s internal affairs will be met with a firm and reciprocal response.
