DID Press: On the death anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), DID Press conducted an online survey asking readers to identify Prophet’s most inspiring quality for Muslims today.

According to the poll, justice and fairness received a commanding 72% of the votes, placing it firmly at the top.
Analysts say the result reflects growing demands for social justice in Muslim communities facing political, economic, and social challenges. Justice, as emphasized by the Prophet, extended beyond governance and legal rulings, shaping human relations, economic practices, and social structures—a principle many believe is urgently needed in today’s world.
Two other traits—compassion and mercy, along with courage and wisdom in leadership—each earned 14% of the votes, sharing second place. Respondents highlighted the importance of kindness, empathy, and forgiveness, while also recognizing the value of courageous, strategic leadership amid modern-day challenges.
Interestingly, asceticism and simplicity failed to receive any votes, suggesting that this aspect of the Prophet’s life resonates less in an era defined by materialism and competition.
Overall, the survey underscores a powerful message: for Muslims today, the Prophet’s enduring legacy of justice and fairness is seen as the key to navigating contemporary crises.
