Airstrikes on Nangarhar Leave Multiple Casualties

DID Press: Khost and Nangarhar provinces were hit by drone strikes, resulting in multiple casualties, according to local sources.

Nangarhar provincial media office reported that two airstrikes were carried out last night in Shinwari district, injuring four children and one woman.

The injured were taken to hospital, where their condition is described as “stable,” the statement said. It emphasized that the victims were civilians with no links to armed groups.

No details have yet been released regarding the source of the attacks.

Meanwhile, local sources in Khost said that a drone strike last night targeted the house of Haji Mohammad Naeem, a tribal elder in the Spera district, killing two children.

According to these sources, the drones were of Pakistani origin. The Taliban caretaker administration has not yet commented.
