Afghanistan Resistance Council Expresses Condolences over Deadly Earthquake

DID Press: Supreme Council of National Resistance for the Salvation of Afghanistan described the recent earthquake in eastern provinces as a “major humanitarian catastrophe,” expressing deep sympathy with the victims and their families.

“This tragic event struck our long-suffering people at a time when Afghanistan is grappling with severe political, economic, and social crises. The absence of a legitimate and accountable government has severely limited the ability to provide timely and comprehensive assistance to those affected,” the Council said in a statement.

The council urged relief agencies, humanitarian organizations, and charitable groups to respond urgently to the needs of survivors.

Reaffirming Afghanistan people’s historic resilience and unity, the council expressed confidence that the nation will endure this crisis with dignity and strength.
