Afghanistan to Face India in Final CAFA Match

DID Press: Afghanistan’s national football team will play its final group-stage match of the Central Asia Football Association (CAFA) tournament today (Thursday, September 4) at 16:30 Afghanistan time, against India at Hisor Stadium in Dushanbe, Tajikistan.

Afghanistani players are in Group B of the competition and have previously lost their matches to Iran and Tajikistan.

Afghanistan currently sits at the bottom of Group B with no points. A victory in today’s match would give the team a slim chance of competing for third place in the tournament.
