Pakistan President’s 10-Day Visit to China to Strengthen Bilateral Relations

DID Press: Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari arrived in Chengdu, China, on Friday to expand cooperation between the two countries and discuss regional issues as well as the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).

Arriving in Chengdu, President Asif Ali Zardari began a 10-day visit to China. The trip aims to strengthen bilateral relations and develop economic, political, and regional cooperation between Pakistan and China.

During the visit, Zardari will also visit Shanghai and the Xinjiang region. The main topics of discussion will include economic cooperation, joint projects under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), and important regional issues.

Upon arrival, the President of Pakistan was officially welcomed by senior Chinese officials, highlighting the significance of Islamabad-Beijing relations and the two countries’ special focus on developing strategic partnerships.
