Drones Target “Al-Sumoud” Maritime Convoy in Mediterranean
DID Press: “Global Al-Sumoud Fleet,” a maritime convoy attempting to deliver aid and break the blockade of Gaza, came under repeated drone attacks in the Mediterranean, resulting in damage, multiple explosions, and disruption of the fleet’s communication systems.

Media sources reported that at least 15 drones flew over the convoy’s ships, carrying out 12 direct attacks on nine boats. More than 13 explosions were heard around the vessels, and unidentified objects were thrown onto 10 boats, causing damage to parts of the fleet.
According to a fleet spokesperson, the boat Alma alone was targeted more than 15 times by drones within 24 hours. The attacks caused both physical damage and widespread disruption to the convoy’s communication systems.
Despite the assaults, Al-Sumoud fleet said that it will continue its mission to deliver aid to Gaza.
