Israel Hayom: Only 23% of Jews Hopeful about Future
DID Press: Israel Hayom daily has published the results of a new survey in the United States showing that fewer than one-quarter of respondents expressed a sense of hope about the future. The poll was conducted among 950 employees of Jewish institutions.

At the outset, participants were asked: “What do you feel hopeful about?” Most gave a uniform response: “Why do you think people have any hope at all right now?” Following this reaction, the central question was reframed to: “Do you feel hopeful?”
When asked about the sources of their pessimism, respondents cited “internal divisions” as the primary factor. Other leading causes included “failures of Israeli leadership,” “antisemitism and external hostility,” as well as the “difficulty of openly discussing Israel.”
