Pakistan’s Special Envoy in Iran for Talks on Afghanistan

DID Press: Pakistan’s Special Envoy on Afghanistan, Mohammad Sadiq Khan, paid an official visit to Tehran for talks with senior Iranian officials on issues related to Afghanistan and strengthening bilateral relations.

During the visit, Khan and Iranian officials discussed recent developments in Afghanistan, including the country’s security and economic challenges, which have drawn growing attention from neighboring states, particularly Iran and Pakistan.

Both sides stressed the importance of closer cooperation to help address Afghanistan’s ongoing crises.

Iran also expressed its readiness to assist Pakistan in efforts aimed at promoting stability in Afghanistan and advancing joint economic projects between the two countries.
