French PM Resigns Less than Month Taking Office
DID Press: French PM Sébastien Lecornu has stepped down from his position, less than a month after assuming office.

The Élysée Palace confirmed that President Emmanuel Macron has accepted Lecornu’s resignation.
With Macron’s approval on Monday morning, October 6 (14 Mizan), Lecornu became the French PM with the shortest tenure since 1958.
The resignation came just hours after Lecornu announced his first cabinet lineup. His brief tenure was marred by sharp criticism from both his political allies and opponents following the unveiling of his government.
