Iran’s President Urges Muslim Unity for Regional Peace

DID Press: Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian urged Muslim countries to act as “one body” in pursuit of peace and solidarity, amid renewed tensions between Pakistan and Afghanistan.

Reacting to the recent border clashes, Pezeshkian called on Islamic nations to set aside internal and regional disputes and promote brotherhood, peaceful coexistence, and constructive engagement.

He said that conflicts among Muslim nations are not the will of their peoples but the result of “plots by the enemies of Islam,” adding that “international Zionism and adversaries of the Islamic Ummah have always sought to divide and weaken Muslim states.”

Pezeshkian reiterated that the Islamic Republic of Iran consistently advocates dialogue, unity, and nonviolence among Muslim countries and stands ready to cooperate in efforts to strengthen regional peace and stability.
