PTI Demanding Humane, Respectful Treatment of Afghanistani Refugees in Pakistan

DID Press: Pakistan’s Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party has called for humane, respectful, and compassionate treatment of Afghanistan people residing in the country, emphasizing the need to uphold their dignity and security amid growing concern over the situation of Afghanistani refugees in Pakistan.

In an official statement, PTI expressed deep concern about the condition of Afghanistani migrants, stressing that any engagement with this vulnerable population must be guided by principles of humanity, mutual respect, and empathy.

“All Afghans living in Pakistan, whether long-term residents or recent arrivals, must be treated in accordance with the law and with full respect for their human dignity,” the statement said. “Any form of humiliation, discrimination, or violence against them is unacceptable.”

The party further noted that safeguarding the rights, welfare, and security of Afghanistani refugees is not only a moral obligation but also essential for maintaining social harmony and national stability.
