Iran’s “Khayyam” Satellite Captures Images of US Nuclear Facility

DID Press: Iran’s “Khayyam” satellite, launched in 2022 aboard a Russian Soyuz rocket with Iranian engineering participation, has captured imagery of the Vogtle nuclear power plant in the U.S. state of Georgia.

This marks the first time images taken by the Khayyam satellite have been released.
Experts say the satellite’s image resolution is approximately 70 centimeters—significantly sharper than initial estimates.
