Fatimah Zahra (S): The Guiding Light of Unity for Muslim Ummah
DID Press: At the international “Shamim-e-Fatemi” conference, attended by poets from Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan, and India, Iran’s cultural attaché in Afghanistan emphasized that Fatimah Zahra (S) is a central figure of unity among Muslim countries. Respect for her by all sects can serve as a solid foundation for Islamic solidarity.

During the opening ceremony in Mashhad city, Dr. Sayed Ruhollah Hussaini described the revered daughter of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) as a “pivot of unity in the Islamic world.”
He noted that despite attempts by adversaries to sow discord, the status and dignity of Fatimah Zahra (S) is honored across all Islamic denominations, representing one of the most significant unifying capacities within the Muslim world.
Dr. Hussaini also highlighted the presence of poets from multiple countries at the shrine of Imam Reza (AS) as evidence of deep cultural connections, saying that the “Shamim-e-Fatemi” poetry night showcased Persian as a unifying language for people with shared cultural heritage — a potential that should be nurtured further.
