Hamza bin Laden Spotted in Afghanistan, Raising Global Security Concerns
DID Press: A transatlantic intelligence network has released a video claiming to show Hamza bin Laden, the son of Osama bin Laden, inside Afghanistan.

Following the release of the video reportedly depicting Hamza bin Laden within Afghanistan, concerns have grown regarding the potential return of senior al-Qaeda members to the country.
The video, allegedly recorded earlier this year, shows bin Laden in an open urban environment, although the precise location is unclear and any identifiable markers were removed prior to publication.
The Taliban, who have consistently asserted since their return to power in 2021 that no foreign militant groups operate within Afghanistan, have not responded to this video.
Meanwhile, previous reports from the United Nations and Western intelligence agencies have pointed to ongoing ties between al-Qaeda and armed groups operating in Afghanistan.
The release of this video comes particularly after the death of Ayman al-Zawahiri, the former leader of al-Qaeda, who was killed in a U.S. airstrike in Kabul in 2022, heightening concerns over potential al-Qaeda activity in the country.
Earlier, U.S. President Donald Trump had claimed that Hamza bin Laden was killed in U.S. operations along the Afghanistan-Pakistan border, but this new video casts doubt on that assertion.
Various reports indicate that al-Qaeda continues to operate in certain Afghan provinces, including Parwan, Ghazni, Laghman, and Uruzgan, engaging in training and organizational activities.
Some researchers from strategic institutes in Paris have speculated that Hamza bin Laden may be present in Panjshir province, though this claim has not yet been confirmed.
