Taliban Set Conditions for Reopening Border Crossings with Pakistan
DID Press: Zabiullah Mujahid, spokesperson for the Taliban government, said that Afghanistan–Pakistan commercial crossings will only reopen if Islamabad guarantees it will not use these routes to exert political or economic pressure on Kabul.

Mujahid said that the prolonged closure of the crossings has caused serious harm to ordinary people, adding that Afghanistan is now meeting its needs through alternative countries.
The crossings were shut around 50 days ago following clashes between Taliban forces and Pakistani troops.
Meanwhile, Pakistan has partially reopened the border to allow UN humanitarian aid to pass through, but commercial trade between the two countries remains suspended.
