Hamas Calls for Unity to Resist Israeli Policies in West Bank
DID Press: Khaled Meshaal, head of Hamas’ political bureau abroad, emphasized in his latest remarks that the West Bank must be protected from policies of Judaization, settlement expansion, forced displacement, and expulsion, and that the Palestinian people must be firmly supported.

He highlighted the necessity of preserving the resistance project and its weapons, adding that efforts to secure the release of Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails must be pursued with determination.
Meshaal also warned that no victory can be achieved without real unity and participation among Palestinian factions, calling on all groups not to monopolize decision-making.
According to Meshaal, any normalization of relations or engagement with Israel must be unequivocally rejected.
He further stressed that Hamas does not accept any form of guardianship or control over Gaza, asserting that it is the Palestinian people who must decide their own fate and governance.
These statements come at a time of heightened tensions in the West Bank, where settlement expansion and Israeli military operations continue across various areas—developments that Meshaal cited as grounds for his call for national unity and broader resistance.
