Qatar Warns: Gaza Truce Talks at “Critical” Stage
DID Press: Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani, Qatar’s PM, warned during the 23rd Doha Forum that negotiations over a Gaza ceasefire are now in a “critical” phase. He stressed that a ceasefire can only be achieved when Israeli forces fully withdraw and stability and freedom of movement return to Gaza—conditions that, he said, are currently not in place.

Hakan Fidan, Turkey’s Foreign Minister, also said that Ankara is ready to take any necessary steps to support ongoing efforts toward a ceasefire and peace in Gaza.
The 23rd Doha Forum, held under the slogan “Justice in Action: Moving Beyond Promises to Progress,” opened today in Qatar and is expected to host around 6,000 participants from more than 150 countries.
