Germany Contributes €2M to Afghanistan Humanitarian Fund
DID Press: UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) has announced the receipt of a new financial contribution worth two million euros from the German government to support life-saving operations in Afghanistan.

In a post on its official X account, OCHA said the contribution—equivalent to USD 2.31 million—has been allocated to the Afghanistan Humanitarian Fund. The message noted that Germany’s continued support brings renewed hope to people whose lives have been disrupted by shocks and sudden disasters.
This assistance comes as Afghanistan continues to face widespread humanitarian crises, including poverty, food insecurity, and the impacts of natural disasters, highlighting the urgent need for international support.
