Alawite Women Targeted by Organized Abduction Networks in Syria
DID Press: Human rights sources in Syria have reported the abduction of at least 40 Alawite women over the past three weeks, pointing to organized crimes deliberately targeting civilians.

According to these sources, the women were primarily abducted from the outskirts of Jableh, Homs, and Baniyas. Some of those who were later released have reported severe violence by their captors, while also claiming that other victims were subjected to organ theft.
Human rights activists have warned that the continued pattern of such crimes indicates the presence of organized networks operating systematically and targeting civilians based on identity.
These incidents have once again highlighted Syria’s deepening security and humanitarian crisis, intensifying concerns over the deteriorating human rights situation in the country.
