DID Press: Israeli media report new developments involving Yemen’s Southern Transitional Council (STC), a UAE-backed separatist group. Officials from the council told Israel’s Radio and Television that they hope to become the second entity formally recognized by Israel, following Somaliland.

Southern Yemen has been divided in recent years between two competing factions: the Saudi-backed Yemeni government-in-exile and the UAE-supported Southern Transitional Council.
