Tehran Marks Soleimani’s 6th Martyrdom Anniversary with Huge Crowds

DID Press: A major ceremony marking the sixth anniversary of the martyrdom of Qassem Soleimani, former commander of the IRGC Quds Force, held at Tehran’s Imam Khomeini Grand Prayer Complex, drawing large crowds along with senior civilian and military officials.

Participants from across social groups joined government and military representatives to commemorate Soleimani’s legacy, emphasizing his role in regional developments and in confronting terrorism.

Speakers described Soleimani as a symbol of resistance and steadfastness, underscoring the need to continue the path and ideals associated with him. The program included cultural segments, messages of tribute, and ceremonies honoring members of the “Resistance” who were martyred.

Organizers said the event took place in a solemn atmosphere under planned security arrangements, as attendees chanted slogans and expressed respect for the late commander.
