DID Press: Venezuelan Defense Minister Vladimir Padrino López declared that there will be no negotiations, deals, or compromises regarding the country’s freedom and independence. He stressed that national unity is the key to victory in the current crisis.
“The people will triumph,” Padrino López said, emphasizing that the government and armed forces will neither negotiate nor retreat from their positions.
He accused external adversaries of attempting to disrupt Venezuela’s stability through fear and chaos but affirmed that the nation will continue to resist and defend its sovereignty against any aggression.
The minister also announced a general mobilization within the armed forces, stressing that all personnel are required to fully execute the orders of the commander-in-chief.
