DID Press: For the first time since the outbreak of Ukraine war, official representatives from Ukraine, Russia, and the US have convened a meeting in Abu Dhabi to explore pathways toward ending the conflict.

The talks, which began Friday evening and are scheduled to continue for two days, mark the first direct trilateral meeting between the parties. Previous discussions were largely mediated by the U.S., with face-to-face encounters being rare.
As of this report, no details on progress have been released, and the outcome of the discussions remains uncertain. The UAE Foreign Ministry confirmed the meeting, while the Kremlin acknowledged Russia’s participation in the security working group.
