Afghanistan, Bangladesh Take New Steps to Boost Trade Cooperation
DID Press: In an effort to expand economic ties, a delegation from Afghanistan’s Ministry of Industry and Commerce, led by its deputy minister, met with Bangladeshi government officials and business representatives in Dhaka.

During the official visit, both sides discussed ways to enhance trade relations, establish joint investment opportunities, and increase economic exchanges between the two countries.
Face-to-face meetings between Afghan and Bangladeshi traders explored potential cooperation across various trade and manufacturing sectors. Both parties emphasized the critical role of the private sector in fostering stronger economic relations.
The Afghan deputy minister highlighted Afghanistan’s economic potential, describing the country as a reliable and promising market for trade and investment, and called for continued dialogue and the exchange of trade delegations between the two nations.
