Khalilzad: Detention of US Citizens Major Obstacle to US-Taliban Relations

Khalilzad also emphasized that concerns regarding human rights and the political participation of non-Taliban Afghans remain unresolved, and these issues continue to pose challenges in engaging with the Taliban.
