Domestic and International Tourists Surge in Bamyan

DID Press: Bamyan province has witnessed a significant rise in the number of domestic and international tourists this year, highlighting the growing tourism potential of the region.

Local authorities in Bamyan reported that over 517,000 tourists, both domestic and foreign, have visited the province’s natural and historical attractions this year.

This remarkable increase reflects Bamyan’s growing position as one of the country’s key tourist destinations.

According to officials, the province’s pristine nature, historical sites, and secure environment are key factors attracting tourists to Bamyan.

However, lack of proper infrastructure, including standard roads and the shortage of tour guides, remains a significant challenge for the sector.

Tourism experts emphasize that with the development of infrastructure and the organization of tourism services, Bamyan can further increase its tourist inflow and contribute to sustainable economic growth in the province.
