14 Cricket Figures Urge Better Prison Conditions for Imran Khan

DID Press: Fourteen prominent figures from the world of cricket issued a joint statement expressing concern over the health of former Pakistani prime minister Imran Khan, calling on authorities to improve his detention conditions.

The signatories urged Pakistan’s responsible authorities to ensure Khan’s access to adequate medical care and necessary facilities, stressing that the health of detainees must be protected in line with humanitarian and legal standards.

Meanwhile, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf said Khan has lost 85 percent of the vision in his right eye due to what the party described as neglect in prison. The claim has not yet drawn a fresh official response from government authorities.

Khan’s legal cases have seen major political and judicial developments in recent months, with his health condition becoming a focal point of debate among supporters and critics alike.
