Achakzai: Pakistan Will Not Back Down to Taliban Threats
DID Press: Former Information Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Jan Achakzai, warned that Pakistan will not retreat in the face of threats from the Taliban, stressing that Islamabad does not fear external pressure.

In a post on social media, Achakzai cautioned the Taliban against testing Pakistan’s patience, saying the country would continue to stand firm rather than yield under pressure.
“Pakistan is not the United States; we make sacrifices, but we will never retreat,” he wrote.
The remarks come amid rising threats by the Taliban against parts of Pakistan’s border regions and growing tensions between the two sides in recent months. Pakistani officials have repeatedly said that the country will not concede to Taliban pressure and will maintain a hard line in response to security threats.
