Gunmen Abduct 14 Workers in Pakistan’s Balochistan
DID Press: Armed assailants abducted 14 workers in two separate attacks targeting development projects in Balochistan, southwestern Pakistan, local authorities said.

In Khuzdar, attackers stormed a government construction camp and kidnapped 11 workers, including the project manager. A brief exchange of fire occurred between the assailants and police, but the gunmen managed to escape.
In a separate incident in Barkhan, more than 30 militants raided a stone-crushing facility, vandalized equipment, and took three workers into nearby mountainous areas.
Security forces have launched a large-scale search operation across the highlands. Although several police officers who were initially taken hostage were later released, authorities said there is still no information on the fate or whereabouts of the abducted workers.
