Kabul, Kuwait Pledge to Enhance Consular Services

DID Press: Officials from Afghanistan and Kuwait discussed facilitating and standardizing consular services for Afghan citizens residing in Kuwait, according to a statement released on the meeting.

The talks were held between Hafez Omar, acting head of the Afghan embassy, and Mohammad Nasser Al-Hajri, Kuwait’s ambassador, focusing on improving access to documentation and consular assistance for the Afghan community.

Both sides also underlined the importance of reactivating Kuwait’s embassy in Kabul and expanding bilateral relations. The delegations agreed to make use of existing opportunities in Afghanistan and to continue joint cooperation.
