Fresh Details of Retaliatory Operation Against Pakistan; Heavy Casualties, Territorial Gains
DID Press: Following the launch of what Afghan forces describe as a retaliatory operation against what they called aggression by Pakistan’s military regime, newly released field data indicate that the offensive has resulted in significant Pakistani casualties and advances along multiple axes.

According to published figures, 19 members of the Islamic State group (ISIS), reportedly operating alongside Pakistani forces, have been killed in the clashes so far. At the same time, more than 300 Pakistani soldiers are said to have been killed and over 200 others wounded, underscoring the intensity and scale of the recent fighting.
On the ground, forces of the Taliban-led government have reportedly taken control of 40 outposts and four major military bases belonging to Pakistan. Reports further indicate that approximately 25 heavy engagements have occurred in various locations since the start of the operation.
In terms of equipment losses, field sources report the destruction of five drones operated by Pakistani forces, a development that could significantly reduce Islamabad’s surveillance and operational capabilities in border areas.
The operation continues amid escalating border tensions between the two countries in recent weeks. Analysts believe the trajectory of events could usher in a new phase in the region’s security dynamics.
