DID Press: Canadian police reported that a shooting targeting the U.S. consulate in Toronto on Tuesday morning is being treated as a national security incident. Two suspects have been arrested in connection with the attack.
Witnesses said the incident occurred around 4:30 a.m. local time, when two men exited a white vehicle, reportedly a Honda CR‑V, and fired several rounds at the consulate building before fleeing the scene.
No injuries were reported, and the consulate’s reinforced structure prevented serious damage. Authorities continue to investigate the motives behind the attack.
