DID Press: Senior Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid said Iran has the capacity to overcome crises and would not be defeated in a potential conflict with the United States and Israel.
In a televised interview with TOLOnews, Mujahid addressed the possibility of military action by the United States and Israel against Iran, stressing that the country possesses significant resilience and strength.
“Without doubt, this would be an act of aggression against a free country, and such an action must be condemned,” he said.
Responding to a question about whether Iran could be defeated, Mujahid added: “We believe this will not happen. The Iranian people have experience in dealing with crises, and Iran has a very strong military. We are confident it will not face defeat.”
The remarks come amid rising regional tensions and growing concerns about potential actions by the United States and Israel against Iran. Taliban officials have reiterated their stance in support of Iran and opposition to any foreign aggression.
