Taliban: Pakistani Mortar Fire Kills 2 Civilians in Kunar
DID Press: Taliban officials in Afghanistan’s Kunar province reported that Pakistani forces fired 85 mortar rounds over the past 24 hours into Kunar’s center and the districts of Sarkano, Manwara, and Nari.

According to the Taliban, at least two civilians were killed and seven others injured, including women and children. Farid Dehghan, spokesperson for Kunar’s Taliban security command, stated that a mortar round striking a residential home in Pashangar, Nari district, resulted in one death and three injuries among women and children.
Additionally, three more civilians were reported wounded in Sarkano district. Pakistani authorities have not commented on the incident.
