Pakistan Army Launches Major Operation Along Afghanistan Border

Lieutenant General Rao Imran Sartaj stressed during a meeting with local tribal leaders that terrorists are using civilians as human shields and that no peaceful resolution exists with these groups.

As part of the operation, several villages in the Khyber region near the Afghan border have been ordered to evacuate immediately to minimize risks to civilians. The army emphasized that the operation will be fully coordinated with local authorities and tribal leaders, and troops remain on high alert.

Sartaj affirmed that Pakistan is committed to securing its citizens and neutralizing threats from armed groups in these border areas, marking a significant step to restore stability and government control along the northern frontier.
