Pakistan Military Operations Displace Over 120 Border Families

DID Press: During recent operations by the Pakistan Army against armed groups in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, more than 120 families have been forced to leave their homes and seek refuge in safer areas.

Security forces and the military carried out targeted strikes in the Bara and Bannu regions, eliminating 13 militants. These actions are part of the ongoing “Operation Azm-e-Istihkam” and are expected to continue.

Reports indicate that the humanitarian situation is deteriorating. Local sources say that the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan has been entering homes and schools, attempting to use civilians as human shields.

As a result, over 120 families from the Akakhel area and surrounding regions have been relocated to safer locations. Local authorities have raised the security alert to its highest level and continue measures to protect civilians.
