Afghanistan-Uzbekistan Sign $400M+ in Trade and Investment Deals

DID Press: Chamber of Commerce and Investment of the Taliban government announced that during a business networking meeting between private sector representatives from Afghanistan and Uzbekistan in Fergana, 20 cooperation agreements worth over $400 million were signed.

According to the chamber, these agreements aim to strengthen economic ties, increase bilateral trade, and expand investment cooperation between the two countries’ business communities.

Officials emphasized that such networking events play a crucial role in creating new business opportunities and developing regional economic relations, potentially boosting exports and stimulating economic activities between Kabul and Tashkent.

In recent years, Afghanistan and Uzbekistan have made efforts to enhance economic interactions and significantly raise the level of trade between the two nations.
