US VP Vance Arrives in Pakistan Amid High-Level Regional Talks

DID Press: The aircraft carrying JD Vance has landed moments ago at Nur Khan military airbase in Rawalpindi, near the capital of Pakistan.

Upon arrival, he was officially received by Field Marshal Asim Munir, Commander of the Army and head of Pakistan’s defense forces, along with Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi.

Reports indicate that the U.S. Vice President entered Pakistan with a large security detail and full protective arrangements. Nur Khan airbase and surrounding routes are under strict security control.

According to the announced schedule, Vance is expected to hold separate meetings with Shehbaz Sharif and other senior officials involved in the ongoing consultations.

The U.S. delegation is also expected to participate in discussions—facilitated by Pakistan—with a senior Iranian delegation led by Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, focusing on regional tensions and the possibility of achieving a lasting ceasefire.
