Four Aid Workers Killed in Israeli Airstrikes on Southern Lebanon

DID Press: Four emergency responders were killed and six others injured in airstrikes carried out by Israel in southern Lebanon, according to a report by Al Jazeera.

The report stated that the attack was conducted in what was described as a “three-stage” pattern, in which strikes were repeated after rescue teams arrived at the scene to assist the wounded. This tactic has raised serious concerns among observers about the possible targeting of emergency personnel and potential violations of humanitarian principles.

Separate reports indicate that since the escalation of hostilities began on March 2, at least 91 healthcare workers in Lebanon have been killed as a result of Israeli attacks, underscoring a rising toll among civilian and service personnel.

Analysts warn that continued strikes of this nature could further deepen the humanitarian crisis in southern Lebanon and significantly disrupt access to medical and emergency services for affected communities.
