DID Press: An Israeli military analyst writing in the newspaper Israel Hayom says that Israel has failed to secure a decisive or sustainable victory across multiple conflict arenas linked to the confrontation with Iran.

In his analysis, Yoav Limor reviews the outcomes of recent escalations following the events of October 7, 2023, arguing that Israel has not achieved its declared strategic objectives despite extensive military operations.
He notes that Hamas continues to operate in the Gaza Strip, maintaining its organizational structure and ongoing recovery efforts despite sustained military pressure.
Limor also points to Hezbollah as still being an active force in regional dynamics after surviving a prolonged period of intense confrontation.
The analysis further suggests that Iran may have strengthened its regional position as a result of the broader conflict environment, indicating a shift in regional power balance that is not necessarily favorable to Israel.
He additionally highlights Israel’s strategic dependence on the United States, arguing that major security and political decisions remain heavily influenced by Washington’s policies and support.
