Muttaqi Stresses Expansion of Trade Ties with Neighboring Countries

DID Press: Amir Khan Muttaqi, Foreign Minister of the Taliban administration, emphasized the importance of expanding trade relations with neighboring countries during an official visit to Herat Province, where he met with the provincial governor.

During the meeting, Muttaqi expressed satisfaction with the progress of industrial and commercial projects in Herat and commended local authorities for their efforts to improve the investment climate and promote economic growth in the province.

He further underscored that strengthening cooperation with neighboring states and facilitating cross-border trade remains a central priority for the Foreign Ministry.
