Passport Services Improve in Ghor, Thousands Receive Documents
DID Press: Authorities in Ghor Province say passport services have improved significantly, with thousands of residents receiving travel documents over the past year.

Officials from the provincial police command stated that more than 7,600 passports were issued and distributed in the past twelve months through the local passport office, reflecting improved access to administrative services.
They said registration and issuance procedures are now running in a more orderly and regular manner, with recent reforms helping reduce waiting times for applicants. In the past, residents reportedly faced long delays in obtaining passports.
Authorities added that efforts are ongoing to further enhance service capacity and speed up processing times for applicants.
Some residents have welcomed the improvements, saying access to passport services has become easier compared to previous years. However, they also raised concerns over high application costs and called for a review of fees.
