Trump Says Cuba “Next Target” After Iran Operations, Hints at Possible Takeover
DID Press: Donald Trump has stated that the United States intends to “take control of Cuba very soon,” linking the move to the completion of ongoing military priorities involving Iran.

Speaking in West Palm Beach to members of the Forum Club, Trump described Cuba as facing internal difficulties and suggested that Washington would address the situation after concluding what he called its current mission. He added that he prefers to “complete one task fully before moving to the next.”
He also referenced recent military actions against Iran, stating that Cuba would be considered afterward. Trump further claimed that the aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln could be deployed near Cuban waters as part of future planning.
In a controversial remark, he suggested that the carrier’s presence off the coast could prompt a rapid political outcome, implying a potential surrender scenario, though no official military plans or government confirmation have been announced.
Trump had previously indicated in early March that U.S. post-conflict strategy following operations against Iran could include new steps regarding Cuba, intensifying scrutiny of his foreign policy rhetoric.
