DID Press: Iran has submitted a 14-point proposal to end the war via Pakistan, but Donald Trump says the plan is “unlikely to be acceptable.”

According to reports by Fars News Agency and Tasnim News Agency, the proposal was presented as Tehran’s formal response to a previously offered nine-point framework by United States.
The Iranian plan emphasizes a “complete end to the war,” rejecting a temporary ceasefire model. While Washington’s proposal reportedly included a two-month truce, Tehran is pushing for a comprehensive and final resolution within a shorter timeframe.
Key elements of the proposal include guarantees of non-aggression, withdrawal of U.S. forces from areas surrounding Iran, lifting of naval blockades, release of frozen assets, and compensation payments.
The plan also addresses sanctions relief, ending hostilities across multiple fronts—including Lebanon—and establishing a new framework for managing the Strait of Hormuz.
Trump said he has been briefed on the general framework and expects to review the full text soon, but added he does not believe the proposal will be acceptable.
Iranian sources say Tehran is now awaiting an official response from Washington.
