DID Press: Mike Waltz has confirmed expanding security cooperation between Israel and the United Arab Emirates, while multiple sources report that Israel deployed its “Iron Dome” air defense system to the UAE during the early stages of its conflict with Iran.

According to reports cited by Israel Hayom and Axios, Israeli authorities transferred a full Iron Dome battery, along with interceptor missiles and operational personnel, to the UAE shortly after hostilities escalated.
The sources claim the deployment followed direct communication between Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and UAE President Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, after which an urgent order was issued to dispatch the system and support units.
The move is being interpreted as a sign of deepening defense coordination between the two countries amid rising regional tensions and concerns over missile threats in the Gulf.
