Taliban High-Level Delegation Visits Turkmenistan for TAPI, Energy Talks

DID Press: A senior delegation from the Taliban government has traveled to Turkmenistan to discuss the implementation of the TAPI gas pipeline project and broader cooperation in energy and economic sectors.

The delegation includes Ataullah Omari, Hedayatullah Badri, Is’haq Sahibzada, and Abdul Haq Hamkar.

According to officials, discussions will focus on the implementation of the TAPI project inside Afghanistan, land acquisition along the pipeline route, pricing of exported gas, and other related technical and financial issues.

The delegation is also scheduled to visit facilities of Turkmennebitgaz, as well as the Turkmenbashi port and several border terminals in Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan.
