DID Press: Paris Saint-Germain secured the UEFA Champions League 2025–26 title after defeating Arsenal 4–3 on penalties following a 1–1 draw in regulation and extra time at the Puskás Aréna in Budapest.

Arsenal took an early lead through Kai Havertz in the 6th minute of the first half, putting the English side in control of the opening phase of the match. However, PSG responded in the second half when Ousmane Dembélé converted a penalty to bring the score level.
Despite sustained pressure from both sides in extra time, neither team was able to find a decisive goal, sending the final into a penalty shootout.
In the shootout, PSG converted four of their five attempts with greater composure, while Arsenal missed two crucial penalties, ultimately falling 4–3.
The victory marks PSG’s second consecutive UEFA Champions League title, further cementing the club’s position among Europe’s elite teams.
